50 years in Scotland, a dozen in England and three in France, not necessarily in that order, have contributed to an interesting lifespan, which continues for me, now back in England again.
 
Physics graduate, hotelier, bookkeeper, graphic artist, website designer, house builder, property developer ... just some earlier answers to the question: "What do you do?"
 
-- but nowadays you are more likely to find me just painting pictures.
 
There are two styles of painting which I switch between:

• Watercolour views of the villages and coast of Suffolk, some of which I print as greeting cards.
• Portraits in acrylic on canvas of famous jazz musicians.
